Brunch and Family Meeting
The reunion wrap-up brunch on Sunday was well attended. We had a delicious breakfast including: Swedish Oven Pancakes (with butter/syrup or Lingonberries), 4 different flavors of Quiche, bacon, pastries, muffins, fruit, juices, and coffee. We had a short family business meeting after the brunch and everyone left excited about the upcoming 2011 reunion. Our goal is to have 60 family attendees, and everyone promised to help-out with that goal.
2011 Reunion Date is Set
We are continuing to follow our plan to hold the Oberg Reunion every two years. Mark off July 15-17, 2011 on your calendar right now, and tell bosses, friends and family that you'll be in Jamestown, NY that weekend. We are already really looking forward to the 2011 reunion when we may be visited by several cousins from Sweden! We are planning some very special things for 2011, don't miss it! There may be some smaller East and West coast get-together's on the even years. |
