Nellie was the first daughter born to John Peter & Helena Lovisa Oberg in the US after they emigrated in 1880. She was still living at the family homestead on 32 Chautauqua Avenue in 1910. She was 26 and listed as a saleslady in a dry goods store. She married George Orin Jones about 1912 (confirming date in NY State marriage records shortly). Their only child, daughter Isabel, was born 10 Apr 1913 in Jamestown, NY. They apparently moved to Warren, PA shortly afterwards (David Oberg's 1914 obituary mentions Nellie in Warren).

George was a printing pressman by trade and worked for John T. Newell in Warren in 1918. Nellie and George lived in Warren, PA from at least 1914 to 1923; but had moved to Salem, OH by 1930; and then on to Willoughby, OH by 1933. George worked at Painesville Publishing Co. on State Street in Painesville, OH.

Nellie passed on in 1953 in Willoughby, OH. She was 78. She was brought back to Jamestown, NY to be buried in the family plot in Lakeview Cemetery. George moved from Painesville, OH to Clearwater, FL about 5 years after he retired. He passed away 30 Dec 1959 and is buried next to Nellie in Lakeview Cemetery.
